COVID-19 AND SICK POLICY AMENDMENT EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2020 (**Continues to be in-effect**)

Are we scheduling a program tour amid Covid-19?
Yes, we can organize a virtual or in-person tour for new parents joining our program given our added safety measures in-place. Wearing mask has been made compulsory as per by-law effective Aug 2, 2020 therefore any parent intend to visit or tour our program in-person is required to wear a non-surgical mask for the period of their visit. Additionally, our programs take the safety and hygiene related matters very seriously and we will be happy to share more about program specific preventive measures in place at your program tour.

Are we accepting new kids amid Covid situation?
Yes! We run multiple programs across Tuscany and Calgary NW area and take maximum 6 children all the time. Amid the Covid situation, the small number of children in each program (Maximum 6) permits our program directors to take utmost safety and hygiene measures all the time.
When a parent book a program tour, a detailed e-mail follows including Covid, health and travel related questions that a parent is required to answer prior to scheduling their program tour.

Children should engage in usual preventive actions to avoid infection, including cleaning hands often using soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer, avoiding people who are sick, and staying up to date on vaccinations, including influenza vaccine.

PREVENT AND PREPARE

IMPORTANT ADVISORY FOR PARENTS WHO RECENTLY TRAVELED WITH OR WITHOUT CHILDREN
If you have relative symptoms and recently traveled outside or inside Canada but not certain if you were exposed to someone who has COVID-19, stay home for a minimum of 14 days and call Health Link 811 for immediate medical advise.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AS PER AHS GUIDELINES
If a parent with or without children has recently traveled for discretionary or non-discretionary reasons outside Canada following the Govt. of Canada travel related protocol, it is strongly recommended that you self-isolate until two weeks have passed since that visit prior to resuming care for your kids at any of our programs. These is an official AHS advisory for both parents and children even if they are feeling well.

OUR PROGRAM DIRECTORS HAVE BEEN STRICTLY ADVISED TO FOLLOW THE AHS GUIDELINES AND TAKE KEY PREVENTIVE MEASURES FOR KIDS IN ATTENDANCE.
