Toddler curriculum

Never help child with a task at which he feels he can succeed.

1 to 2.5 years olds

  • Work on the solid holistic development of child
  • Encourage children to become independent learners and also allow them to exercise their freedom of choice
  • Introduce and develop their gross and fine motor skills through various Practical Life exercises such as threading of beads, pouring 1 to 1 and spooning.
  • Ensuring they become better learners by working on the tactile and visual aspects of learning via sensorial activities such as Knobbed cylinders, Pink tower and Broad stairs. These sensorial activities also indirectly introduce mathematical concepts to children such as height, length, width, sorting and matching.

Typical Toddler’s day:-

Sign language, songs, finger plays, rhymes & other learning activities to coordinate with weekly theme
Craft or art project to coordinate with our weekly theme
Stories where children can participate through actions, movement and acting parts of the story
Time at Toddler’s GOLD GYM to get our wiggles out through tumbling, jumping, balancing etc.
Creatively use the Montessori activity center, sensory table, puzzles and other activities to focus on coordination and fine (small) muscles, also works on literacy, math & science
Provided as per weekly menu
Children nap in playpens listening to quite music while they rest/nap.
As children start waking up, they can play quietly until the rest of the children wake up
Dramatic play, dress-up, a variety of age-appropriate toys and stuffed animals keep the little ones actively engaged while they wait for their parents
